minhOS vs spreadsheets and WhatsApp
Do you need booking software for your tours? Not always. With a few bookings, one trip and customers you know by name, a spreadsheet, WhatsApp and a payment link is a working system. It starts to cost you when the evenings do: a reminder nobody sent, a price copied instead of worked out, a site only one person can change. minhOS puts that work in one place, on your own site.
This page describes how small operators commonly combine these tools. It makes no claim about the products themselves.

What each one does
minhOS is marked for the whole list. A competitor is marked only where its public pages show that capability.
| Capability | spreadsheets and WhatsApp | minhOS |
|---|---|---|
| Your own website | The site someone built once | Your site on your own domain, in Greek and English, with SSL managed for you |
| Brand | Set in each tool, one at a time | Brand guidelines you set once theme your site and your emails |
| Trip pages | Written by you, one at a time | A trip page drafted from a link or a file, for you to check |
| Found by AI assistants | Depends on how the site was built | schema.org TouristTrip data with prices on every trip page, and an llms.txt for each brand. Booking inside an AI assistant is next. |
| Direct bookings and payments | A payment link or a bank transfer, noted in the sheet | Bookings on your own site, with a deposit now and the balance later |
| Marketplaces and channels | Kept up by hand on each marketplace | minhOS connects with other marketplaces, including GetYourGuide and Viator. More marketplace connections are next. |
| Pricing and your numbers | Formulas you build in the sheet | Prices worked out from your real costs, with a monthly revenue view and five-year projections. Pricing that starts from what you need to earn is next, and so is dynamic pricing. |
| Marketing | Posts you make by hand | Ad creatives and a social pack in your brand, to review and export; UTM, GA4 and shortlinks you set up yourself. Running ads inside minhOS and newsletters are next. |
| Customer messages | You, on WhatsApp | Booking confirmations and payment reminders send themselves, and review requests go out after the trip. One inbox for every customer message is next. |
| Greek invoicing and tax | Your accountant | The Greek tax stack is next. |

Questions
Do I need booking software for my tours?
Not always. With few bookings and one trip, a spreadsheet can be enough. When reminders, deposits and the same questions take your evenings, it is worth moving them to one place.
Can I keep WhatsApp?
Yes. Your customers can still message you there. minhOS sends booking confirmations and payment reminders by email. WhatsApp Business is next.
Is minhOS in Greek?
Yes. Your site is in Greek and English.
Will AI run my business without me?
No. The AI agents do the work you'd do anyway: confirmations, reminders, keeping other marketplaces in sync. Everything else they suggest changes nothing until you confirm it. You decide.
